I would recommend www.inforelay.com -- also the operators of www.100mbpsservers.com. Don't be scared by their prices. They are very competitive (even with the "value" providers) and offer different mixes (Cogent only, blended, etc.).

They have their own network, and great support.

I have been with them for several years and they have done a better job than any other "value" provider that I have tried -- and I have tried a lot of them.

I have a Dell PowerEdge 1850 dedicated server with them which has given me great performance. It's got gigabit NICs and it's running as a 300Mbps dedicated server. So I know they do offer higher than 100Mbps unmetered packages.

  I've been hosting my sites on Netfirms for about a year now. While there are some positives with them, I've ultimately be unsatisfied. My sites seem to run pretty slowly, and the webmail is worthless in my opinion. It seems like access to mail is down several times a week, and the functionality doesn't work very well in Firefox. Also, their response when I've posted service tickets has usually been 24 hours or more. If you need a good amount of space with a ton of features and aren't too worried about uptime, they may be a good option. However, having my site online and being able to access email remotely is important to me. My 1 year term is about up, and needless to say I'll be going elsewhere.

  Often, when a company has been in business for a number of years, with an ever-expanding customer base, the service tends to start tapering downward. That has not been my experience. Overall, the service has consistently been of a very high quality.
